Joe Markim graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Connecticut, School of Business. In April 2008, Joe started at Nationwide Insurance where he learned the fundamentals of risk assessment and liability protection. In 2011 he moved on to MetLife where he became fully licensed as a Financial Representative and Investment Advisor Representative. In 2016 Joe moved to Raymond James and began serving the greater Middletown, CT area. In 2021, Joe and his good friend and business partner (also a Joe!) joined Capitol Securities Management, LLC where Joe continues to service his clients using Raymond James’ world class financial platforms and technology.

Joe likes to ski, play golf, and coach his children’s baseball and soccer teams. He has been married to Amy since 2010 and together have two children, Wyatt and Willa who take up most of his free time.
